What forms of payment can I use?
Our online shop accepts these credit cards: American Express, Master Card, and Visa. It is also possibly to pay be purchase order or check through our sales offices.

Is it safe to use my credit card?
All online credit card sales are kept secure by SSL technology, the most secure encryption technology currently available for electronic transactions. Credit card authorization and charges are managed through Authorize.net for Visa, Master Card, and American Express. We use the same credit card networks that retail stores use when you make a credit card purchase in person.

My credit card number was not accepted. What can I do?
For proper credit card verification, the billing address on your order must match the billing address on your credit card. Please make sure that your name and address appears exactly the same as the name on your credit card billing statement.
If you are using a corporate card, check with the cardholder or your Accounting department to verify the name and billing address of the cardholder. Corporate card orders must also use the name of the cardholder in the billing address, and not the purchaser, in order to process the order successfully.
If you continue to have problems, please contact Customer Service. Remember that your credit card will not be charged until the product is actually shipped.

Do you charge sales tax?
The laws differ from state to state, and country to country. In most parts of the world we are legally required to charge you sales tax according to the calculations you see during your purchasing process.
Although we are a US company as we have an office in the UK we are obliged to charge customers from within the EU VAT at 17.5%. We must charge this on both boxed and downloaded software, EU rules do not exempt downloads. If your delivery address is inside the EU, you will be charged VAT. If a delivery address isn't specified, for example, for a download, then we use the invoice address to make the decision.

Do you handle tax-exempt purchases?
We are currently unable to handle tax-exempt purchases at our Online Store. To place a tax-exempt order, call your local Order Center.

How much do you charge for shipping and handling?
Shipping is only charged if you purchase boxed software or the text Learning SIMUL8: The Complete Guide. You will be charged $20 USD shipping (plus tax in some states or countries) per order not per item in the order. You will be able to view your total shipping charge at the time you place your order.
The SIMUL8 Corporation Online Store will deliver almost anywhere in the world. If your order is to be shipped out with the US or EU you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Because we cannot determine the customs, brokerage, or other fees that you may incur when the product enters your country, Fed Ex or UPS will collect these fees when they deliver your order. For a fairly accurate estimate, check with Fed Ex and UPS. If the amount still isn't clear and you want to be absolutely sure of the charges, we recommend that you purchase the download version of the product.

What is the delivery time on orders?
All deliveries to the US or UK will be made the next working day. Orders placed before 1.00pm Monday to Friday will be shipped the same day, to arrive the following working day (N.B. Saturday is not a working day). Orders placed after 1.00pm on Friday or on a Saturday, Sunday or National Holidays, will be delivered within 2 working days.
Deliveries to all other destinations will be made using FedEx's International Priority Service. See FedEx.com for estimated delivery time.
Please note all orders require a signature on receipt.

Do you accept purchase orders?
The Online Store currently can't accept purchase orders. To place an order using a PO, contact your Order Center.

All prices are in US Dollars can I using my own currency?
All orders through our online shop are made in US Dollars, if you need to purchase using another international currency then please contact your local office. Prices in UK Sterling and in Euros are available on our International Prices page. Prices in all other currencies are determined using the current $US exchange rate.
